There was a time when country music was cooler than everything else. Some people might have a hard time believing that, but it's true. It happened just about every time Gram Parsons walked on stage. He was an epic badass.
I've talked about him before, but I've never really talked to much about his history. I'm going to go into too much detail. If anyone's really interested, they could probably get a bunch more information here. I'll just give a quick over view. From 1966 to 1973 he was in several different bands usually only putting out one album with each. He became pretty well known, but his records didn't sell particularly well. He died of a drug over dose in 1973. He was 26. The same age as Otis Redding and Paul Kossoff were when they died.
